The result of the autopsy confirmed the suspicion of the investigators: The 26-year-old, who was found dead in a bunker in an Oranienburg forest, died a violent death. This was announced by the Neuruppin public prosecutor. The investigators do not assume a sexual offense. "We haven't found any traces of a rape," said spokesman Torsten Sauermann. According to the results of the investigation, the young woman died shortly after her disappearance.

A family member reported the woman from Oranienburg as missing on Saturday.

Last Thursday, the young mother was last seen at the Oranienburg train station.

The investigators found the bike she is said to have ridden on that day near the telecommunications bunker from the Nazi era.

Visitors to the facility in the forest discovered her body in the old walls on Monday evening and alerted the police.

Investigators are still looking for a culprit.

The results of the forensic investigation are evaluated and surveys take place, as Sauermann said.

The police asked witnesses who saw the woman after her disappearance last Thursday or who noticed special features near the bunker to report.
