Harvest: Lazio, good quality but estimated decline in production

(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 18 - Downward forecast for the production harvest in Lazio which is "forecast" slightly lower than last year, according to preliminary estimates by the Lazio Regional Agency for Development and Innovation of Agriculture (Arsial ). From the first analysis of the technicians in some limited areas of the Lagelata region, late in the month of April could in fact have determined a decrease in production from 5% to company peaks of 30%. In addition, the technicians show a few days of delay. The quality, on the other hand, would seem to be excellent, but what worries us at this moment - they say from Arsial - are the high temperatures and the long period of drought.
