Winter time is cold season - and with it comes the runny nose.
There is an ingenious trick to get the olfactory organ free even without medical help.
If you have a cold, the nasal spray quickly becomes the patient's best friend.
However, it is generally known that the nasal spray should only be used in doses - otherwise the mucous membranes will dry out too quickly.
But what to do if nothing else helps?
Perhaps you should try a simple handle from Curt Hermann Lutz Burkhardt's osteopathy.
With this grip, the nose is free in a minute
To do the trick, do the following:
Place
your index and middle fingers between the eyebrows at the roots
.
Place the
same fingers of the other hand in the middle of the bridge of the nose
, about two-thirds lower.
Use your fingers to gently pull the two areas apart without applying pressure.
Hold this position for
at least half a minute
.
Also interesting
: if your nasal mucus is this color, see a doctor quickly.
The longer you stay in this position, the more effective the grip.
This is because when you have a cold, the nose is swollen from the inside.
By stretching it swells a little
.
You may not use this trick to get rid of your cold, but at least you can use it to breathe deeply again for a short time.
If the cold is particularly bad, however, the grip only helps to a limited extent.
Fittingly
: With these four supposed helpers, you will only make a cold worse.
How about you: Do you often suffer from colds?
