Callback to dm: Spray can cause infections

As a precaution, the drugstore chain dm is calling back the "Balea water spray AQUA".

The reason for this are two bacteria that could cause infections.

Germany - The drugstore giant determined through its own checks that the “water spray AQUA” from its own brand Balea could be microbiologically contaminated.

As dm announced in a consumer information dated November 16, 2021, the risk of a health impact is low.

However, it cannot be ruled out that the product could cause an infection in sensitive or immunocompromised consumers.

The drugstore therefore asks all of its customers not to use the product and to bring it back to one of the branches - whether it is already open or not.

The articles in sizes 150 and 75 milliliters are affected.

The purchase price will be fully reimbursed through the recall.
