The Austrian Max Franz set the best time in the second and last timed test of the Lauberhorn descent, in Wengen, ahead of the Norwegian Aleksander Aamodt Kilde and the blue Dominik Paris, third with the same time trial as Ryan Cochran-Siegle.
Today the test was shortened by about 45 seconds to safeguard the athletes who will face three fast races in the next three days, again in the Swiss location: tomorrow's super-G, which recovers the one canceled in Bormio, and the two originally scheduled descents. Franz stopped the clock at a time of 1'43 "42, ahead of Kilde by 56 cents and 93 Paris, seventh time for Christof Innerhofer, 1" 24 behind Franz. Followed by Mattia Casse (14 / o) and Guglielmo Bosca (27 / o), with the other more late blues.
