The Brooklyn Nets won 138-112 over the Bulls in Chicago in the most anticipated match of the nine played last night in the NBA, the one that pitted the Eastern Conference team leaders up against. The Nets had Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving on the field together, a trio of stars that did not disappoint. Durant scored 27 points, Harden 25 points and 16 assists and Irving nine points in his third game of the season. The Bulls, two points behind at half-time, drew 71-71 at the start of the third, but were then overwhelmed by the Nets who flew to 101-79 at the end of the third quarter and there the match was over. Miami, third east behind the Nets, held up with a 115-91 win over the Hawks in Atlanta. Herro led the Heat with 21 points and 11 rebounds, but it was only one of seven guest players who went into double figures. Across the US, the Sacramento Kings scored 40 points in the third quarter to finally beat LeBron Jame's Lakers 125-116. All five holders of the Kings went in double figures, led by Fox's 29 points. The Lakers were leading 76-68 early in the third half before the Kings reacted vehemently and James's 34 points weren't enough for the LA team as Westbrook scored just eight. The New York Knicks beat the Dallas Mavericks 108-85, who came from six consecutive victories but this time Luka Doncic and his teammates had wet powders, with bad shooting percentages, with only eight baskets out of 37 three-point attempts. The Boston Celtics shrugged off their recent away troubles - six straight losses - with a 119-100 win over the Pacers in Indianapolis.
