8 house and personal searches are underway, against militant subjects in the ranks of the far-right movement, Forza Nuova in an investigation conducted by the Digos of the Rome Police Headquarters and by the Carabinieri of the Information Unit of the Operational Department of the Provincial Command, coordinated by the local Prosecutor's office. The same subjects had already been denounced in recent days by the two investigative offices for having participated in the display of the Nazi banner, which took place during the funeral of the militant Alessia Augello, which took place at the church of Santa Lucia in Rome on 10 January.
The eight people are accused by the Rome Prosecutor's Office of reorganizing the dissolved fascist party, of violating the Mancino Law on instigation of hatred and violence for racial, ethnic and religious reasons.
The searches were carried out as part of the proceedings initiated in piazzale Clodio.
