Two million migrants stopped on the US-Mexico border in 2021

(ANSA) - NEW YORK, JANUARY 24 - More than two million migrants illegally entering the United States were arrested on the border with Mexico in 2021. This is a record number: 180,000 migrants were arrested in December alone.

   The data expose US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to criticism from Republicans, who accuse them of creating a historic humanitarian crisis.
