Breastfeeding Mom Selling Breast Milk To Bodybuilders (@debrito_bunch)

Mila D'Brito realized she was sitting on a gold mine when she discovered that there are bodybuilders who drink breast milk because they believe that the nutrients in it help them build muscle mass.

The ticketing user explained in the video how her profitable business works - she shows viewers a bag of breast milk, or as she calls it "liquid gold", and added that she earns 10,000 pounds (about 13,000 dollars or 44,000 shekels) from her sale to fitness enthusiasts.

D'Brito said breast milk is considered a muscle-building superfood, and bodybuilders who want to swell are willing to pay well for this unconventional supplement. She heard about it after the birth of her first son - and began marketing her breast milk online. A thousand views and it was flooded with encouraging comments.

But then does it really help?

A cup of breast milk contains about 170 calories, 10 grams of fat, 16 grams of carbohydrates and two grams of protein, as well as vitamins and minerals.

In a recent article in Men's Health, sports dietitian Brian St. Pierre explained the new craze.

He said: "I think the idea behind drinking breast milk to build muscle is that milk is high in calories and loaded with incredibly nutritious nutrients, and has some other healthy ingredients in it. Breast milk is designed to grow a human baby quickly, so maybe people think a similar effect will happen to adults? Some growth hormones in breast milk - although I'm not sure they'm really beneficial for an adult in any way. "

According to the American Pregnancy Association, breast milk does contain the "perfect combination of proteins, fats, vitamins and carbohydrates" for the baby's development, but this is also not true for adults, since the way an adult and newborn's body receives and synthesizes these nutrients is drastically different. And the way these nutrients are broken down and absorbed into the body of a newborn and adult is very different.

The association warns that not only can buying breast milk from online sites be very dangerous because it can be infected, outdated and suffer from other problems, its consumption may also not benefit adults at all, and can actually cause digestive problems.

Instead they recommend a healthy diet and proper exercise as a key to building a healthy and shapely body.
