In compliance with the deadlines set for the first quarter of 2022 for the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, the call for access to funding from the 'Parco Agrisolare' measure is in the pipeline.

It will be published by 31 March and will have 1.5 billion euros available, with the aim of supporting investments for the construction of electricity production plants in the agricultural sector, totally excluding land consumption.

The intervention foresees, in fact, the installation of photovoltaic panels on the roofs of buildings for productive use in the agricultural, livestock and agro-industrial sectors, aiming to achieve the installation of photovoltaic panels on a total area of 4.3 million square meters per 0.43 GW, thus helping to increase the sustainability and energy efficiency of the sector.

The applications of the call, once sent, the ministry specifies, will then be managed by the Electricity Service Operator (GSE), indicated by Mipaaf as the actuator of the Pnrr intervention line, with which a 'public-public' agreement is being prepared and which will allow to immediately start the implementation operations of the photovoltaic programs whose applications will have received a favorable opinion.

An important step forward to speed up the process and allow the immediate start of the projects, underlines the Mipaaf in a note.

The Ministry of Agriculture will maintain the role of single point of contact with the Central Service for the NRP and will be responsible for the overall supervision of the intervention, in each of the different stages of implementation of the projects.
