"Today I'm happy to see an artist who 'came up with it'": Singer Narkis responds to reviews of the change | Israel today

Last night (Monday), Narcissus posted a long and revealing Instagram post, in which she shared with followers a way she never thought of a professional musical career as a leading singer and songwriter, whose songs become big hits and receive great praise from both critics and leading radio stations in Israel.

"I did not come because of a TV show," Narcissus declared at the beginning of the post, "I came from my house. I was rewarded for leaving the narrow place I lived in to the big city, something I would not have imagined I would do when I grew up," she shared with surfers.

"I tell you this because I'm not a cooked artist who has always known he has talent," she confessed.

"I never studied music and until the age of 36 it never occurred to me that my career would be to be a singer and creator."

"Everyone who follows me knows that I am a freak of personal development," she testified.

"I believe that fear and pain are a gateway to success. Every week for years I dive in and peel layers and change the system from the inside and the results are visible from the outside: changing my voice, my appearance, styling, etc. It is important to know that all this was possible because it really changed me .

"People are often disappointed to see an artist who grows up for them and goes out of the framework to which they have become accustomed," she said of the criticism leveled at her.

"I used to say 'Look at him, he's up too. Today I'm happy to see an artist who's up to him.'

"I want to say thank you for growing up with me, developing with me," she thanked her fans.

"I may have delivered quite a few things, but the truth is I only feel in my beginning," she shared her feelings.

"Always love you, kisses on the head," she signed.

Quite a few excited surfers responded to Narcissus for the things she wrote and asked to hug her: "Adore you," wrote one of the surfers.

"Let you know you're just amazing. Keep conquering us as you know it," another follower added.

"I'm so glad I got to know you at the beginning of your journey," "special that you are," a pleasure to follow you because you are so real, "others wrote to her.
