A customer of dm speaks up on Facebook and praises the drugstore giant for a very special help that happened to him in a branch in his town.

War continues to rage in Ukraine – meanwhile, solidarity in Germany is huge.

Private individuals, but also organizations and companies have collected donations in the past few days and sent them to the crisis areas.

This is how millions of dollars come together, clothes, toys and much more.

At the same time, people fleeing reach the country.

Many people want to help here too.

There are always stories worth telling that show the current cohesion.

Holger S. has now posted one of them on Facebook and is aimed at the drugstore chain dm*, as reported by HEIDELBERG24*.

Customer praises dm for Ukraine help: The story behind the post

It's one of those stories that you love to read in between the bad news that's going around the world right now.

User Holger S. turns to dm on Facebook.

He says that he is picking up two Ukrainian families who will then stay with two families in his town.

He also mentions that the fleeing people made it from Kyiv to Poland after more than 50 hours.

There are 3 adults and four small children.

Holger S. then emphasizes that the willingness to help in this country is impressive.

"Without hesitation and totally "unbureaucratically", the employees packed a package with diapers and hygiene items...", says Holger S. about his dm visit, followed by a "thank you" to the dm team from Groß-Umstadt ( District of Darmstadt-Dieburg, southern Hesse) and everyone else who has helped so far.

Help for Ukraine refugees: This is how dm reacted to the Facebook post

It is probably just one of many personal stories that are currently happening here every day.

A story that also tells of the fate of those affected by the war and those who are still able to help.

Of course, the Karlsruhe drugstore dm responded to the post and responded to Holger S. with a big red heart.

In addition to dm, other large companies are also willing to help.

For example, the Schwarz Group*, to which Lidl also belongs, or the Ludwigshafen chemical company BASF* donate goods and money worth millions.
