On the proposal of the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza, according to what is learned from sources of the Ministry of Health, we are moving towards the extension to 31 December of the 'dematerialized recipe', i.e. the possibility for citizens to use alternative tools to the paper memo of the electronic prescription .
As has happened in recent months, an email or a text message will be enough, or a communication directly by phone, with the prescription number communicated by the treating doctor.

"It took Covid to make the paper memo disappear. Now there is no going back. The patient chooses the most convenient means and gives consent to the doctor. Let's not get lost behind the useless bureaucracy. Well the extension and we hope that the dematerialized prescription will finally be fully operational ".
