The hearing on the appeal presented by the Rome Public Prosecutor's Office which challenged the decision of 11 April of the GUP with which it suspended the trial of four 007 has been set for next July 15 in Cassation, in front of the first section. Egyptians accused of kidnapping, torturing and killing Giulio Regeni in 2016 in Cairo.
With the appeal, the deputy prosecutor Sergio Colaiocco asks for the annulment of the judge's provision which was based on the decision of the Court of Assizes, last October, according to which the trial could not go on because the documents had not been notified to the defendants.
