The Cyclop (re) shines with a thousand lights.
It is so sparkling that the sun is reflected everywhere, dazzling the visitor who is aware of its extraordinary dimensions: 22.50 meters high, 350 tonnes of recycled metal and 62,000 mirror tesserae.
This monumental sculpture, erected for twenty-five years in the heart of the wood of Milly-la-Forêt by a collective of fifteen artists, gathered around Jean Tinguely and Niki de Saint Phalle, has regained all its splendor after a vast restoration.
The public will be able to discover it this Saturday.
May 22, 2022 has been chosen as the date for the reopening of this unique work, owned by the State since 1987 and kept by the National Center for Plastic Arts (CNAP).
