(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, MAY 24 - The interruption of electricity and natural gas by Russia to Finland, after the stopping of gas supplies to Poland and Bulgaria, is "unjustified and unacceptable".
Thus the European Commission and the United States in a joint statement, in which they condemn such actions as "energy blackmail".
The two sides also reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen Europe's energy security as part of the joint task force on energy security announced by Presidents Joe Biden and Ursula von der Leyen on 25 March.
