A hidden song by the band, recorded in the late '80s and never released, is expected to be unveiled in September.
The song, according to guitarist Brian May, was recorded by the mythical British band in sessions of the 1989 album The Miracle, but did not find its place in the final songs of the album, nor was it included as a sideline in one of the singles.
"We found a small gift from Freddie (Mercury, the late lead singer of Kevin who died in 1991 - DP)," Mae said in an interview with the BBC radio station, along with the band's drummer Roger Taylor. , And the discovery was wonderful.
The truth is that the song was just under our noses all this time.
"We looked at it several times and told ourselves it could not be saved, but in the end we enlisted our sound engineers, and the result is a beautiful and very moving piece," concluded the 74-year-old guitarist, who refrained from revealing the name of the new song.
It should be noted that even after Mercury's death, Quinn continued her activities and even released quite a few tracks recorded by the virtuoso vocalist, with the album Made in Heaven from 1995 and the Queen Forever collection from 2014 being good examples of this.
American singer Adam Lambert has been Quinn's replacement singer since 2011, and the band is currently touring Europe.
Also, in 2018 the Oscar-winning film "Bohemian Rhapsody" was released, which focuses on the beginning of Kevin's career in general and Mercury's life in particular, and last year Mae and Taylor stated that they were "exploring ideas" to produce a sequel.
Needless to say, the show is indeed ongoing.
