Guitarist Carlos Santana collapsed on stage at a concert in Michigan, USA, in front of his fans.
The management said on the US musician's Facebook page that the 74-year-old was suffering from extreme heat and lack of fluids during the performance near Detroit.
The artist was taken to the emergency room of a nearby hospital for observation, but he is fine.
His concert this Wednesday in Burgettstown (Pennsylvania) had to be postponed.
Santana is currently on his Miraculous Supernatural tour.
The musician collapsed during his concert at the Pine Knob Music Theatre, an outdoor amphitheater in the town of Clarkston.
Photos and videos on social media show how he is treated on stage.
He forgot to eat and drink water, Santana later wrote on Facebook.
He's fine.
He also thanked his fans for the "valuable prayers".
Santana was born in Mexico in 1947.
He rose to stardom with his band at the legendary 1969 Woodstock Festival.
The multiple Grammy winner is considered the inventor of Latin rock.
He has been a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame since 1998.
Santana's classics include "Black Magic Woman", "Samba Pa Ti" and a guitar-heavy version of "Oye Como Va".
At the end of last year he released the album »Blessings And Miracles«.
