After dozens of complaints were filed with the second authority against the Modibody advertisement, and with the blood that provoked many divided reactions, the second authority decided to keep the advertisement in the air and even support it.
Recall that this is a company that sells underwear for menstruation, and chose to display red blood that goes down for diverse women, and not like the other advertisements for feminine hygiene products that include blue blood.
"This is a natural process and it is important to take part in changing the discourse around it," the other authority said.
"The professionals in the second authority, who examined the advertisement in light of the viewers' complaints, believed that there was no reason to stop or restrict its broadcast. I also believe that in balancing the inconvenience of the advertisement with the importance of the message that the female cycle is natural, the message grows."
They added that "the broadcast of this advertisement gives parents the opportunity to mediate the issue for their children through joint viewing of the advertisement."
