Eight months after the tragedy that occurred during his Astroworld festival which caused the death of ten people, Travis Scott seems more attentive than ever to safety during his concerts.
As he was just getting back on stage, he interrupted his performance on Monday July 4, National Day, in Brooklyn, when fans had climbed a metal upright.
Travis Scott was opening for rapper Meek Mill at The Day Party on Coney Island, Brooklyn, when he saw several people climbing on metal trusses intended for stage lighting.
In several videos posted on social networks, we see the interpreter of
Goosebumps
and
Sicko Mode
asking the fan to get off, before resuming the concert.
“With all due respect, you have to get out of there because if it falls apart it's going to be a bad vibe.
We don't need that right now
,” he told them.
As a reminder, on November 5, 2021, a crowd movement claimed the lives of ten people during the Astroworld festival, organized by Travis Scott in Houston, Texas.
Targeted by several hundred complaints following the event which brought together some 50,000 people, the rapper had been deprogrammed from the Coachella festival in April.
