Summer holidays not only by the sea but also in the mountains: the boom in tourist presences continues in the Dolomites and the Alps but also in the Apennines.
According to a study by JFC that ANSA publishes in preview overall - in the summer of 2022 - 71 million presences will be reached at hotel and extra-hotel accommodation facilities of various kinds, second homes, etc.
"A significant figure, if compared to the 49 million visitors recorded last year in these areas. For the summer holidays in the mountains, the phase of relaunch and discovery that began with the advent of Covid-19 continues" comments Massimo Feruzzi of Jfc.
With an overall score of 1,172 votes, Cortina d'Ampezzo is the queen in the ranking of summer mountain and Apennine destinations drawn up by Jfc.
In second place is the Aosta Valley Courmayeur with 1,144 votes and in third place, however, a destination from thirty: it is Madonna di Campiglio, with 920 points.
"Not only in winter, but also in summer, these destinations maintain their leadership position. For this survey we have analyzed a total of 16,045 helpful votes (only for the first 20 positions of the five categories)", comments Massimo Feruzzi, director sole of Jfc and author of the study.
Jfc then produces individual rankings on various topics from which it emerges that Courmayeur, followed by Bormio and Bressanone have been indicated as the most "relaxing and peaceful" destinations;
Livigno, San Vigilio di Marebbe and Molveno as the most "green" destinations.
Furthermore, Italians consider Andalo, Asiago and Canazei the most "family" destinations, while the most "fun" destination is Madonna di Campiglio, followed by Cortina d'Ampezzo and Livigno.
Finally, the Italians indicate Cortina d'Ampezzo as the most "trendy" mountain / Apennine destination, followed by Courmayeur and Madonna di Campiglio ".
