(ANSA) - NEW YORK, 17 SEPTEMBER - The White House deems the death of the 22-year-old Iranian girl who died after her arrest, carried out because she did not wear the veil correctly, "unforgivable".
"We are deeply concerned about the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini, who was beaten in custody by the amoral police. Her death is unforgivable. We will continue to hold Iranian officials accountable for these human rights abuses," said Jake Sullivan, the White House National Security Advisor.
