(ANSA) - MOSCOW, SEPTEMBER 23 - There are also Italian observers in the referendum underway in the self-proclaimed Republic of Donetsk for union with Russia.

This was reported by the Central Electoral Commission, according to which 130 foreign observers attended the consultation.

Among these, in addition to the Russians and the Italians, others from Venezuela, Romania, Togo and South Africa.
