(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, SEPTEMBER 24 - After having devastated Puerto Rican hurricane Fiona, now category 4, is heading towards Canada where the population has already been put on alert.
She brings them back to CNN.
The risk, according to experts, is that the strongest storm of all time could hit the north country of the United States.
Fiona is expected to arrive in Nova Scotia in the next few hours bringing with her strong winds, dangerous storm surges and the equivalent of two months of rain across the east coast.
"She could become the Canadian version of Superstorm Sandy," warned Chris Fogarty, director of the Canadian Hurricane Center.
Hurricane Sandy hit 24 states and the entire east coast of the United States causing damage of $ 78.7 billion.
