Disappeared three years ago, the spirit of the couturier lives on.
And even in homes.
The Karl Lagerfeld brand has indeed entrusted its license to the Spanish developer Sierra Blanca Estates responsible for setting up - in collaboration with the international architecture studio The One Atelier - a complex of ultra-luxury villas in Spain, in the heart of the Golden Mile. from Marbella - wealthy residential area of the Costa del Sol.
The first will see the light of day in 2024.
It includes five residences, each more luxurious than the other, bordered by individual swimming pools and lush gardens, made up of plantations of pomegranate trees, palm trees and shrubs.
If the couturier himself is not at the origin of the project, all the residences bear the signature of an architecture enthusiast.
“These villas are the translation of what he would have imagined, his heritage is reflected in every detail, in a sustainable and responsible architecture,” said Pier Paolo Righi, CEO of Karl Lagerfeld, who recently traveled to Marbella to present the project.

Eco-responsible villas
With reflective facades penetrated with white gold dust, the residential complex has sustainability and eco-responsibility aims: all the roofs of the buildings are equipped with solar panels to reduce energy needs and the materials used are presented as recyclable and biodegradable.
On the layout side, you can find a cinema room, a spa, as well as vast libraries designed as a nod to the huge bookshop of the couturier, located rue de Lille, in Paris, equipped with thousands of books placed to the horizontal.
According to the Spanish daily El Pais, the sum of 51 million euros has been invested in these residences.
One of them has already been sold off plan to a Dutch businessman, for the sum of 15 million euros.
The others will be sold at a higher price, around 25 million euros.
