American rapper B. Smyth died this week at the age of 28, his relatives said on Thursday, November 17.
From his real name Brandon Smith, “B. Smyth” started his career on YouTube.
He was best known in 2014, with his song "Twerkoholic" thanks to which he had counted millions of views on the video platform.
The title has more than 17 million today.
It was his brother Denzil who announced the sad news, addressing the approximately 160,000 people subscribed to the artist's Instagram account.
"Today I regret to announce that my brother died this morning of respiratory failure after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis," he wrote on social media.

“On behalf of my brother and my family, we want to say thank you to all of you for all your love and support throughout these years, he continued, demanding respect” for privacy in these times difficult”.
“We also want to say thank you for all your prayers,” he concluded.
Despite the disease, which is characterized by a progressive deterioration of the lungs, B.Smyth released a new single a few weeks ago, entitled “Twerkoholic Pt. 2”.
"My brother was so happy to see so many of you creating challenges around his latest single while he was in intensive care, it really put a big smile on his face," his brother added.
