 Moscow sees no prospects for peace talks in Ukraine;

Russia must achieve the objectives of the special military operation and this will be done.'

This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Peskov.

Meanwhile, today, a drone attacked an airport in the Kursk region of Russia, on the border with Ukraine.

Yesterday Moscow accused Kiev of having hit two of its air bases with drones, specifying that there were no victims.

Meanwhile, Russian bombing continues in Ukraine, with missiles on the city of Zaporizhzia and new massive attacks on the Kherson region.

The Russians, in today's attack in Kherson, hit the building of the water service, killing a 43-year-old employee.

This was reported by the Kherson city council on Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.

L'

administrative building of the utility company and residential buildings located nearby were hit.

The employee died from a blast wound and shrapnel wounds.

According to the daily bulletin of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, however, "Russia yesterday launched Kh-101, Kh-555, Kh-22, Kh-59, Kh-31P and Kalibr missiles on Ukrainian territory in the course of 17 raids planes: 70 missiles in total, of which more than 60 were shot down by Kiev forces," UNIAN reports.

Yesterday "the enemy launched a massive missile attack against critical infrastructure and civilians in Ukraine - reads the report -. Residential buildings and critical infrastructure were hit in Vinnitsa, Kiev, Mykolaiv, Odessa and other regions of our state".

Russian forces also carried out 38 attacks with multiple launch systems yesterday.

Furthermore, according to the General Staff,

The threat of further Russian missile attacks on energy system facilities and critical infrastructure across Ukraine remains.

And in the night Zlensky let it be known that

at least four people have died as a result of the Russian bombing

.

The new attacks come the day after the statement by the spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Maria Zakharova, quoted by the Kyiv Independent, said that

Russia will not give up control of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant

to create a nuclear safety zone.

"Russia's withdrawal from the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant or the transfer of control over it to some 'third party' is out of the question," he stressed.

Last December 2nd, the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, had hoped to reach an agreement with Russia and Ukraine by the end of the year on the protection of the plant currently occupied by Moscow troops.

Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov denied what Ukrainian sources said that Russian troops intended to withdraw from the plant.

The Ukrainian president posted a video from Donbass.

Zelensky visited Sloviansk about 40 kilometers from Bakhmut, the main battlefield in the region.

In the video, the president appears at the entrance to the city and greets his country's military "from the bottom of his heart" on the occasion of Armed Forces Day.

A video released while arriving at the EU-Balkans summit in Tirana, French President Emmanuel Macron assured that in the event of negotiations there will be "territorial discussions on Ukraine, which will belong to the Ukrainians".
