The autopsy on the body of Thomas Bricca,

the 19-year-old who was shot dead on Monday evening in Alatri ,

will be held this morning .

The exam, conferred by the Frosinone prosecutor's office, will be held in Rome and will be performed by Professor Giorgio Bolino.

Thomas' photos are everywhere.

Everyone remembers his "dimpled smile."

No one can believe that smile is gone forever.

With a unanimous cry to ask for "justice", today hundreds of boys and girls from Alatri have decided to take to the streets to remember their friend.

Everyone here knows each other and each of them has an anecdote about Thomas.

But from every story, inevitable, emerges the smile of that 19-year-old, who died in an ambush with gunshots in a town that already six years ago mourned the disappearance of another very young man, the 20-year-old Emanuele Morganti, beaten to death outside a disco .

"

My son had nothing to do with it

, perhaps he was in the wrong place at the wrong time", Paolo continues to repeat, inviting his friends to put aside anger and the desire for revenge. "May the death of my son - he says - serve as an example". And, while the autopsy on the boy's body will be held today in Rome, no particular news emerges from the investigations, except that the attention of the investigators is directed in particular to those who took part in the weekend brawls, which then resulted in the deadly ambush. Among them there would be two local brothers, but also a member of a rather well-known criminal clan in Lower Lazio. Alatri, therefore, returns to embrace himself in pain. Six years after the tragic Morganti case, today the boys of the town wanted to pay homage to Thomas Bricca with banners, white balloons and t-shirts with his image. They gathered in the very central Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore, letting go of a long applause between tears and emotion.

"

You will be the angel who will watch over us

", is the writing on the photo of Thomas embossed on their shirts.

A little further on is the ladder where the boy was killed.

On a vase are placed dozens of bunches of flowers, a scarf by Alatri and the last cigarette offered to their friend.

On a card in the shape of a heart the inscription "Thomas, the son of us all".

Friends keep repeating that "everyone knows who did it."

Words that are repeated like a mantra even on friends' social networks.

The same ones who have been heard by investigators these days to clarify exactly what happened.

Thomas's father was also in the square.

Owner of a workshop and of a racing sports team, Paolo is known by everyone in the town.

he can't hold back his emotion when he talks about his son.

"How much pain - his words -. He wanted to go to Spain, he wanted to open his own business. Now I'm waiting for justice to take its course and lead to a positive result. I trust the work that the investigators are doing".

"Thomas - adds the family lawyer, Marilena Colagiacomo - was not part of any criminal group. He was a cheerful boy, who loved being with friends and who went to school. And he was far from any form of violence and crime".

Meanwhile, in view of the weekend, security checks should increase in the city, as decided last Tuesday in the committee in the prefecture in Frosinone.

The fear is that there could be another escalation of violence, as happened a week ago when, on the narrow streets of the town, the two maxirisses took place which then unleashed the punitive expedition with gunfire.

"In this difficult moment - said the mayor of Alatri, Maurizio Cianfrocca - the thing that can alleviate this pain a little is the bringing of those responsible to justice.

I think silence these days is the best thing.

There's a lot to think about, and that goes for everyone.

The whole community will have to make sure that this city can start again ".
