In 2019, Shazam hit theaters and was the first DC collaboration between Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema, followed by 2022's Black Adam, starring Dwayne Johnson. "Shazam!

The last part had the Shazamily established and adhered to a recent story by Geoff Johns from the "Shazam" comic.
The sequel doesn't implement the next story arc, but rather one around the daughters of Atlas, played by Lucy Liu ("Elementary"), Helen Mirren ("Fast and Furious 9"), and Rachel Zegler ("West Side Story").
