(ANSA) - STOCKHOLM, MARCH 29 - Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billstrom has summoned the Russian ambassador in Stockholm Viktor Tatarintsev following what the Russian ambassador wrote on the embassy's website in which he defines Sweden "a legitimate target for the retaliation of Russia" if the country joins NATO.
In a note reported by the Swedish media, Minister Billstrom explained: "The ministry summoned the ambassador because he clearly tried to influence the process" and underlined that Swedish security policy "is decided by Sweden and no one else".
