Green light from the CDM to the drought decree and the draft legislative decree to complete the Trans-European transport network.

Ok also to the decree with the recruitment for the Pa, to strengthen the administrative capacity of the public administration.

On the other hand, the examination of the competition bill continues but the green light from the Council of Ministers is still slipping.

Hirings in the Public Administration

Over three thousand hirings in the Public Administration, of which two thirds for the forces of order.

This is provided for by the decree with the recruitment for the PA, which aims to strengthen the administrative capacity of the public administration, approved by the Council of Ministers.

The Council of Ministers, according to what has been learned, "has approved a very important decree for the public administration, which among other things provides for recruitments for the security forces. Over 2,100 recruitments concern the Arma dei Carabinieri, the Guardia di Finanza, the Fire Brigade, the State Police, the Port Authorities and the Coast Guard".

"It is a concrete signal for the citizens and for the servants of the State who ensure control of the territory every day".

Recruitments in the police force sector, it is explained, are financed through the latest budget law with the funds provided for security and are about "two thirds" of the total.

"

With the decree law approved by the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Education has launched a permanent recruitment plan for teachers, pending the execution of the competitions envisaged by the Pnrr.

This was stated by Minister Giuseppe Valditara underlining that "with the plan that we have decided to support the measures envisaged by the Pnrr, we aim to create the conditions for the regular start of the next school year, ensuring didactic continuity for students, the quality of teaching and the reduction of precariousness".

From the ministry then comes a "prompt and significant" response to students with disabilities "with the most significant introduction of support teachers in recent years, making recruitment procedures more selective".

Furthermore, the minister continues,

Drought.

"As announced, we are intervening to contain the damage connected to the phenomenon of the water emergency, with short, medium and long-term operational and de-bureaucratisation actions, and the allocation of resources".

This was stated by the Deputy Minister for the Environment and Energy Security Vannia Gava after the green light of the CDM for the drought decree.

"A measure that deals structurally with the water crisis resulting from the drought that is severely affecting Italian companies is welcome".

Thus the president of Confartigianato, Marco Granelli, comments on the law decree on the drought emergency approved by the Council of Ministers.

"Systemic and coordinated interventions are needed - underlines Granelli - to improve the management of water resources, to face the aspects of fragility linked to the high hydrogeological risk and to contribute to the redevelopment of the Italian territory in which our companies are widespread".

In fact, according to a survey by Confartigianato, "mainly in the centre-north there are 91,000 water-intensive manufacturing companies, with 1,108,000 employees,

most affected by the water crisis.

Of these, 55,000 are artisan businesses employing 246,000 people".

The drought decree approved by the council of ministers "is a sign of great attention for the country and, in particular, for the agri-food sector which has been denouncing the consequences of the serious water crisis that is affecting our production system for some time. The decision to attribute to an extraordinary Commissioner with the broadest powers of intervention meets with our broadest support".

This is what Maurizio Gardini, president of Confcooperative, affirms, who hopes "that the control room set up at Palazzo Chigi and the Extraordinary Commissioner dialogue with the representative organizations in order to make the interventions to be implemented more responsive to the needs of the agricultural sector. It would be the same fundamental - concludes Gardini - the involvement of the same organizations in the

The public utility number 1500 of the Ministry of Health is guaranteed until 31 December 2023.

It is one of the innovations contained in the decree law on the strengthening of the public administration approved by the Council of Ministers.

"We had made a commitment to find a solution for maintaining the 1500 and safeguarding employment levels - says the Minister of Health, Orazio Schillaci - with this provision, the Ministry of Health ensures the service until December, pending assignment to a new economic operator. There were over 8 million calls to 1500 between 2020 and 2022. After the Covid emergency,
