The fire brigade of the Tartous fire brigade in cooperation with the civil defense and agriculture directorates put out a fire that broke out at about 2:00 pm and lasted about three hours in the town of Menia Yahmour in the governorate countryside as a result of the burning of grasses spread under olive trees, which led to the spread of fire on large areas of land before extinguishing .
Colonel Samir Shamma, commander of the fire brigade, told SANA that the fire broke out in a very rugged area between two mountains and spread over a wide area and in several directions between the villages of Karam Bayram, Yazdiya and Minya Yahmur, indicating that the fire brigade, in cooperation with the Civil Defense and Agriculture, made maximum efforts to control The fire and the reason for the delay in extinguishing is the difficulty of the area where it broke out.
