Residents of the western Mezzeh neighborhood of Damascus woke up at dawn today to an attack by Israeli enemy missiles aimed at building a residential building, causing the death of two martyrs and injuring a number of civilians, including women, children and the elderly.
The aggression carried out by the warplanes of the entity also led to significant material damage in the construction and neighboring residential buildings, including the residence of the Pakistani ambassador in Damascus.
SANA's camera visited the wounded who were treated at the Mouwasat University Hospital, where Rabia Hashim Safad al-Halabi, 80, suddenly felt as if the building was falling over her head and started screaming for fear of her children, but lost consciousness and woke up in the hospital.
The young Bashar al-Hayek Abu Alaa says: “We were asleep when the first explosion occurred where windows and doors were broken and then followed by a second stronger explosion after which I rushed to search for the children and my wife and mother and found them in the rubble. Medical services are needed quickly. ”
Ala Hayek, a 10-year-old boy, appeared on his face with wounds and bruises. He was shocked by the aggression. “I was asleep when I heard the sound of a big explosion that pushed me from my bedroom to the salon and the house collapsed. "My ambulances arrived and we were taken to hospital for treatment," he said.
In a statement to SANA, the Assistant Director General of Medical Affairs of Mouwasat University Hospital in Damascus, Dr. Ammar al-Ra'i, said that he arrived at the hospital two martyrs and eight wounded, where they were providing first aid and conducting the necessary tests and radiographs.
