The district council general election ended yesterday (24th), and the turnout rate reached a new high in Hong Kong's history. A total of 2,940,000 registered voters voted, about 71.2%. The major political parties of the Democratic Party have become the big winners of this election. The Democratic Party, which has sent 99 people to run for election, has at least 78 seats and has become the largest party in the next District Council. The Citizens Party, which sent 36 people to participate in the election, won 32 seats, up to 88%.

The Democratic Party sent 99 candidates to the election this year. Two "Super District" Legislative Council Members, Mr. Tu Jin Shen and Siu Chun Yu, were re-elected in the "Olympic" and "Bei Long" constituencies respectively and successfully obtained the Super Zone tickets. In the new housing estate constituency Kwun Tong Antai, Lin Guancun won 2,264 votes, and lost to 2,901 votes. Chen Baoming, a Democratic Party who went to the Ap Lei Chau Village, took 3,095 votes and lost to the current district board member and Lin Yuzhen who won 3,274 votes.

In terms of the Citizens Party, the party sent 36 party members to participate in the election. A total of 32 party members were elected. Among them, Hao Haohui defeated the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions and the 3,480 votes for Mai Meijuan with 5,194 votes. Liu Jiaheng, a civic party who played in Nanchang North, defeated Zheng Binyu, the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of the People’s Republic of China. The Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of Hong Kong (CAPI) Cai Suyu failed in the "Kingping" in the Eastern District. The 26-year-old Li Yuxin won the 3,113 votes and won the 3027 votes of the Democratic Alliance for Hong Kong.

The ADPL sent 21 people to stand for election and 19 people won. The New Democracy Alliance sent 20 people to stand for election, 19 people won, and the election rate was 95%. However, Huang Liangxi, who was in the Shengfu Constituency, lost. The Labour Party's seven District Council candidates were all elected in this District Council election. They thanked the Hong Kong people for their determination to pursue democracy, "five major demands and indispensable" with one vote. "More democratic parties have been obtained in the district boards. Half of the seats, reforming regional politics, truly revitalizing the community."

The emerging community organized the community to send five people to participate in the election, and all were successfully elected.
