After he was arrested, he told the police that he committed the crime because of an impulse, and the police found a sneak photo of the under skirt on his mobile phone. He had previously pleaded guilty to one offence against public morality and was sentenced today (3rd) in the West Kowloon Magistracy to a 120-hour social service order. The magistrate also sent a message that he should live well and support his wife.
The defendant, Han Weixiong, 58 years old, reported that the teacher had been charged with one count of committing an offence against public morals.
Candid footage found on the phone
The court heard that the defendant, outside Mong Kok East Station, went to the escalator of the Government Offices on August 7 last year, sneaked a photo of the bottom of a female skirt with a mobile phone, and a passerby saw and informed nearby patrol police officers. Police officers then stopped the defendant and found a sneak shot of a woman's skirt in her mobile phone. Was warned to admit to committing a crime on impulse.
The defense earlier pleaded that after the defendant retired last year, he failed to adapt to his retirement and felt pressured to commit the crime. He deeply regrets and promises not to repeat the crime.
Report says defendant still fails to open up
Magistrate Liang Shaoling claimed that the defendant had performed well in the past, worked hard, and obeyed the law. The psychological report stated that the defendant's wife supported his renewal, but he still failed to open up and explain the true crimes, and sentenced him to a 120-hour social service order. Liang Guan addressed the defendant to live well and support his wife.
