Trump will restore key tariffs to Argentina and Brazil

Bad news for the economies of Argentina and Brazil. The United States will restore tariffs for steel and aluminum imported from these two countries. While it was not yet officialized by the treasury department or the Office of the US commercial representative, it was President Donald Trump himself who made the announcement on his Twitter account. In addition, at a press conference Trump said he had given Argentina and Brazil a break but now they were running out. The Argentine government was surprised by this decision and production and labor minister Dante Sica said to communicate with his American peers. For his part, the president of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro clarified that he will call Trump to not apply these tariffs since his economy depends especially on raw materials.
