8.13 One more person has been charged in the airport conflict. The 24-year-old chef, who was involved in setting up a roadblock and throwing objects at a police car, was charged with an illegal assembly and appeared in the Eastern Magistracy today (16). He does not need to reply for the time being, the chief magistrate Qian Li adjourned the case until January 2 next year, pending the prosecution's preparation of referral to the District Court. The defendant was released on bail of 5,000 yuan. During the period, he must observe a curfew, be unable to leave Hong Kong and surrender travel documents, and must report once a week and live at the reported address.

Defendant Gao Yingkang (age 24, reported chef) was charged on August 13 with a flight path outside the departure hall on the 8th floor of the Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1, along with Ye Wenliang and other unknown persons.

The prosecution revealed in court that the police distinguished the defendant from other demonstrators by the mark on his right sleeve. Ye Wenliang mentioned in the charges, his case has been referred to the District Court earlier and will be re-opened next month. Ye is now being returned.

It is understood that the defendant was arrested the same day and refused bail granted by the police the next day. The police then continued to investigate and consult legal advice, intending to arrest the defendant again, but found that he had left Hong Kong. The defendant was arrested at Hong Kong Airport last night and is now in court.
