An explorer in his 30s who was exposed to serious incidents during the Second Lebanon War, recently recognized as suffering from post-trauma due to his military service, according to the Haifa Magistrate's Court sitting as the Appeals Committee under the Disability Law following an appeal filed by Attorney Michael Pascal .

Earlier this year, the Defense Ministry's Compensation Officer rejected his claim on the grounds that there was no causal link between his mental state and his service conditions in the Second Lebanon War and on the claim that there was no evidence of post-traumatic syndrome, implying that this was a hoax.

Hashfash appealed the decision to Haifa Magistrate's Court to Judge Kamla Jadeon. His lawyer claimed that the Compensation Officer ignored all of the physician's and physician's records at the Rambam Hospital's psychiatric ward. He claimed that the Compensation Officer's expert would not be able to rule out, without any reason, a professional therapist's diagnosis. This was based on the opinion of many years of expert physician. As director of the day hospitalization department of the psychiatric department at Rambam Hospital.

According to the appeal, Hashash was recruited for regular service in 2003 and upon his release entered permanent service into the 769th Regional Division of Mount Dov on the Lebanese border. During the Second Lebanon War, he was exposed to constant life-threatening and serious incidents during the rescue of enemy troops, to fighting under heavy bombings, and to the severe event of killing and wounding many soldiers near Kfar Giladi.

In April 2013, he was discharged from the service as he was already suffering from mental health problems and his commander offered him mental health treatment. The grouse did not do this but when his condition worsened, in 2014 he was admitted to a psychiatric hospital and was diagnosed as traumatic as a result of the war.

Following the appeal, the Compensation Officer reconsidered the claim while receiving a supplemental opinion and decided to retract it from his previous decision and acknowledged the causal link between his mental state and military service.

Hashgash was recognized as an IDF disability and will be summoned to a medical committee to determine the rate of disability and compensation and allowance due to him from the Ministry of Defense. Senior Judge Jedon issued a ruling recognizing the Compensation Officer and ruling that the Compensation Officer must pay NIS 8500,000 to cover the cost of his medical expert.
