US fires up: After terrorist attack in Mogadishu, US forces attack two al-Shabaab targets, al-Qaeda branch in Somalia around the world

US fires fire: After terrorist attack in Mogadishu, US forces bombed two al-Shabaab targets, al-Qaeda affiliate in Somalia • In attack, coordinated with Somali government, four terrorists were eliminated

Two days after the most murderous terrorist attack in Somalia in two years - accounts closed: US Army Africa Command carried out (first) air strike against al-Qaeda branch in al-Shabaab.

The attack was carried out in response to a bomb blast in the capital Mogadishu two days ago, which backed the deaths of 78 and the injuries of more than 100 people, some of whom are citizens of Turkey. The attack, which was coordinated in advance with the Somali government, carried out three raids against two targets in the country, killing four terrorists.

Given the tension between US President Donald Trump and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the good relations between Washington and Ankara and Mogadishu - each on its own - the difficult task of eradicating al-Shabaab may improve relations between the two leaders.

The attack happened after President Trump declared South Somalia "an area with active terrorist activity." As a rule, the al-Shabaab organization has been in the process of expansion in recent years after its activists were removed from Mogadishu in 2011. Since 2014, when the organization's UAV leader has been eliminated, and the so-called "Amir al-Shabaab" Ahmed Abdi Gudana, the organization has been strengthened and now controls various territories in Somalia. At present, al-Shabaab has 9,000-7,000 terrorists.

The person who inherited the role of "Amir al-Shabaab" is Ahmed Omar and he is also considered a strategic target of the United States, offering $ 6 million to those who give it to her. Omar is a terrorist archivist who in the past served as deputy to Godana, as deputy governor of Lower Juba and even governor of Bay and Eccles. Personally, he was, before Godana's assassination, trusted Al-Shabaab's "Home Office" known for his terrorist control over the residents under his rule.

While Boko-Haram, the Islamic State (ISIS) branch in West Africa, is a key target of the US African Command in its fight against terrorism - al-Shabaab is a significant target in the eastern continent. The African Command last April announced that in the past two years, 110 air raids had been carried out in Somalia, killing more than 800 people.

Senior al-Qaeda officials

Ahmad Omar was one of al-Qaeda's leaders under Osama bin Laden's successor, Ayman a-Zawahiri, including Saif al-Adel, head of his "operations wing", who was bin Laden's temporary replacement; Abu Muhammad al-Masri, who is expected to be his successor to al-Zawahiri; Abu Musab Abdul Woudood, commander of the al-Qaeda branch in the Maghreb; Qassem al-Raimi, commander of the Arab Peninsula Branch; Abu al-Fadi, commander of Nusrat al-Islam - the branch in West Africa; As well as Yassin al-Suri, an economist based in Iran, as part of the Ayatollah regime's sponsorship of international Islamist terrorism, and the United States is offering $ 10 million for extradition.
