Haifa Magistrate's Court on Thursday convicted actor and director Moshe Ivgi. In addition, the court acquitted him of doubt from two other charges. Ibgi, 66, has been indicted for four counts of indecent acts and three counts of sexual harassment in women he previously worked with.

According to the verdict, during a 2012 movie starring Ivgi, the defendant approached complainant A, in the back, put his hand through a cleavage on the back of her shirt, and stroked A's back, from the shoulder to the tailbone. A. was surprised and asked about his actions, and the defendant replied that "the burglary calls for a thief." It was also ruled that during that year, during the defendant's participation in the filming of the television series "The Switch," the defendant clung to A, hugged her tightly, and at the same time whispered to her ear that he wanted to "fuck" her. The court adopted the complainant's testimony, held that she was trustworthy - and found support for her testimony in the statements made by the defendant during a confrontation between the two at the police station as well as the testimony of another witness.

As to the defendant's testimony, the verdict states that it is a "twisty and evasive" testimony that does not deserve credibility. The defendant was denied that the first incident described in the first charge was made with humor. The defendant's claim was also rejected, stating that the second incident described in the first charge is "legitimate courting attempt". Consequently, the defendant was convicted of the two events described in the first charge: committing offenses of indecent action and, in the process, acquitted of the offense of sexual harassment attributed to him, also in relation to the second incident in the first charge.

As far as the third charge in the indictment is concerned, G.'s version was found to be more reliable than that of the defendant. However, it remains doubtful that the defendant's credit will be credited with the third charge, because of the doubt. Consequently, the defendant is acquitted of an indecent offense attributed to him in this charge.

With regard to the fourth indictment, D.'s testimony was determined, despite a number of difficulties that arose from her testimony, and that this testimony supported other credible evidence. The defendant's testimony was found to be unreliable, and the defense's version of the statement that the defendant's statements were rejected was nothing more than a repetition of things D. told him during their meeting. It was further stated that defendant's statements to D. during their encounter, "are reserved for the last of the rude and the residents of the screenings, and not one of the senior film and theater actors in Israel." In the end, the court decided that these questions should not be considered "sexual harassment" within the meaning of the law. Accordingly, the defendant is acquitted of a sexual harassment offense attributed to him in this charge.

Recall, the affair began in February 2016, after working at the Haifa Theater, she filed a warning before a lawsuit against the theater that Iggy had sexually harassed her two years earlier, at an event that took place at the theater. Evidence of ten different women was then released.

In March of that year, Ivgi was questioned by police and sent to house arrest. After appearing to be indicted against the veteran actor, it was eventually decided to do so in June 2017, subject to a hearing. In November 2017, the hearing was held. After the 2016 explosion in an interview with Network B (here today), the complainant claimed that Iggy had touched her against her will and verbally harassed her. "Moshe Ivgi pushed me to the wall. He started to reach out to me and I managed to push him and slip under his hand and go back. I saw his continued inappropriate behavior towards other women, and I realized it was wrong." The complainant added: "I saw him with no inhibitions touching other women."

She said she complained to the producers, but those were satisfied that the actor would apologize to her. "I tried to make my voice up, I went to the seniors on the set. I was in turmoil, I cried and said I was not ready to work like that and that I wanted to go to the police and want to complain. To you more. " The complainant added: "He came to me and murmured some kind of apology, such 'sorry', 'what I already did, what you want'." Ivgi at the time denied the allegations, saying: "I've never hurt any woman."
