The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the continued attacks by the Israeli occupation on Palestinian Islamic and Christian holy sites, including the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and demanded the international community to stop it.
The Foreign Ministry made clear in a statement today reported by the Wafa Agency that the settlers ’repeated incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque and their attacks on hundreds of worshipers there came within the framework of the occupation’s plans to Judaize and control it, while affirming the resilience of the Palestinians in the face of these plans.
The Foreign Ministry called on the international community and the relevant UN organizations to take immediate action to stop the violations of the occupation in accordance with international law and human rights principles and to provide protection for the holy places from the continued attacks of the occupation.
A number of Palestinians were injured at dawn today during the Israeli forces storming the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and assaulting hundreds of worshipers there.
