Apprenticeship: companies financially assisted in transmitting knowledge

Aid of 4125 euros is paid each year by the State to employers who take apprentices in the first year.


For a company, learning is a skillful balance between rights and duties. On the one hand, leaders who take young people on training benefit from certain financial aids. In companies with less than 250 employees, for any apprentice preparing a diploma equivalent at most to the baccalaureate level (CAP, BEP, professional agricultural certificate, certain additional information, professional baccalaureate, technological baccalaureate, etc.), the employer receives assistance paid by the State. Since January 1, 2019, its amount has been declining, between 4,125 euros and 1,200 euros per year, depending on the level of progression of the young person in their course.

This one-off aid replaces that which existed previously (apprenticeship bonus, assistance in recruiting a first apprentice or an additional apprentice, tax credit for apprenticeship, VSE aid for young apprentices). In addition, the apprenticeship contract benefits from contribution exemptions
