The government dispatched a third charter flight this morning (23) to pick up Hong Kong people from the "Diamond Princess" cruise ship. The flight has arrived in Hong Kong at about 6.10am. The Deputy Director of the Security Bureau, Ou Zhiguang, said that together with the two previous charter flights, three flights sent a total of 195 people back to Hong Kong, of which two were Macao residents and the rest were Hong Kong people. He also said that a total of 70 Hong Kong people on board were diagnosed with the new coronavirus and the government would continue to follow up. In addition, the Japanese government acknowledged yesterday (22nd) that 23 people on board had left the boat without virus inspection.
