Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi stressed today that the Israeli occupation's expansion of illegal settlements and annexation of parts of the West Bank to the lands occupied in 1948 constitutes a violation of international laws and a threat to security and peace in the region.

Mousavi said in a statement today that "the Palestinian people are now facing occupation, siege and embargo, in addition to facing the Corona virus," reiterating that the land of Palestine is for the Palestinians and that the Zionist entity is a usurping and occupying entity that cannot impose its illusions and plans on the region.

Mousavi called on the United Nations and international organizations to assume their responsibility to stop these Zionist measures, which are a flagrant violation of international laws and a threat to security and peace in the region.

On the other hand, the Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned the US Treasury’s decision to block websites of Iranian media.

The ministry said in a comment on its page on the social networking site Twitter today that "Iran strongly condemns the US Treasury decision to block access to the Internet domain of Iranian media, which contradicts the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Freedom of Expression," stressing that this measure taken by the American system Silencing alternative media makes him the main violator of the international legal system.
