After Chile's complaint, the Ministry of Health recognized an error in the graphics about the coronavirus in the region that Alberto Fernández spread this Saturday, during the press conference in which he announced the new extension of the quarantine.
"The mortality rate is expressed per million inhabitants, not per 100,000. Although the mortality and incidence rates are correct, an error arises in the labeling of each country," the government acknowledged via Twitter.
The clarification came after the complaint by the Chilean ambassador to Argentina, Nicolás Monckeberg Díaz, came out to deny the statistical information that he released on Saturday when he compared the mortality of the coronavirus in Argentina with that of other countries on the continent.
