Sprayer with a bizarre message on a wind turbine construction site: mechanics and operators are amazed

2020-06-11T12:41:45.055Z

This is perhaps the most bizarre "declaration of love" currently in Germany! Sprayers secretly sprayed the message on a wind turbine on the Kohlberg (NRW). Installers and operators are amazed.

This is perhaps the most bizarre "declaration of love" currently in Germany! Sprayers secretly sprayed the message on a wind turbine on the Kohlberg (NRW). Installers and operators are amazed.

  • Unknown sprayers left a special "message" on a wind turbine.
  • Above all, the fitters on the Kohlberg in NRW were amazed at the "compensation" they had left behind.
  • The operator of the system took a look at the concrete ring with the bizarre declaration of love and reacted unexpectedly.

Neuenrade - "Hops and malt - God preserves it": This lettering in Fraktur script is emblazoned at around 30 meters high on the concrete tower of a  wind turbine that is currently being built on the Kohlberg in the middle of the Sauerland region,  not far from Dortmund and Hagen in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The slogan itself, which goes back to the world-famous purity law of 1516 , will be signed (almost) by every Sauerland. After all, not only Veltins, Warsteiner and Krombacher , but various small breweries are at home here in the "Bierzentrum" of NRW and in neighboring Siegerland .

Declaration of love for beer: special "decoration" of the tower

Nevertheless: Who the sprayer on the wind turbine from the Kohlberg in NRW was, only the initiates know and of course the "perpetrators" themselves. And of course the action was not entirely legal: one could speak of property damage.

If there is no new photo motif on this wind turbine on the Kohlberg (North Rhine-Westphalia) ... Incidentally, the declaration of love by unknown sprayers refers to the German Purity Law of 1516.

Accordingly, you should be angry and not only surprised at SL Naturenergie about the special "decoration" of the system - right?

The company from Gladbeck in North Rhine-Westphalia has been realizing wind energy and photovoltaic systems for more than 20 years. A total of six 200-meter-high wind turbines are to be built on the Kohlberg *.

Declaration of love for beer in a night and fog campaign

Spokeswoman Maureen Nauen said when asked about the "beer plea" from Kohlberg on  COME-ON.de *: "That is not ours. It was sprayed on in a night and fog campaign ."

As research on site showed, the sprayer (s) had sprayed one of the bulky, large concrete rings on Kohlberg last weekend using a stencil on the opposite side when it was still on the ground.

Declaration of love for beer: "Compensation" for construction workers

The "artist" had even thought of the construction workers who use a crane to assemble the tower of the wind turbine: In keeping with the sprayed motto, a box of beer was waiting for them - and the template used.

Only this perspective makes it clear that the "decorated" concrete ring of the wind turbine was installed on the Kohlberg in NRW at an impressive height of around 30 meters.

At SL Windenergie, the whole thing is taken with humor. "If the artist gets in touch, we can make a series of it," said Maureen Nauen. There is also nothing to complain about in terms of content: "We all like beer."

Declaration of love for beer is not removed or painted over

In any case, on Monday (June 8), the decision was taken not to do anything. The slogan on the component of the wind turbine is not removed or painted over , the ring was installed at an impressive height as planned. You have to continue building.

Nauen also pointed out that advertising on wind turbines is not permitted in principle.

Declaration of love for beer: Kohlberg enriched by a photo motif

The Kohlberg is the second defining elevation in the Märkisches Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia next to the Nordhelle . It lies between the cities of Neuenrade and Altena

It is particularly popular with motorcyclists because of the switchbacks. It would not come as a surprise if some road users parked their machines or cars to take a photo of the sprayers' lettering on the concrete tower of the wind turbine.

Not far from the summit of the Kohlberg, the Hönne rises in the Neuenrad city area , which flows through Balve and Menden and flows into the Ruhr after 33 kilometers at Fröndenberg in the Unna district .
