The United States is on fire again: Kyle Wrighthouse, a 17-year-old Illinois resident, was arrested last night (Thursday) on suspicion of involvement in the killing of two protesters and the injury of another, according to U.S. reports.

Wisconsin authorities have confirmed the details and have updated that the suspect will be charged with first-degree murder. Wrighthouse was reportedly arrested in Lake District, Illinois, 30 miles from Kenosha, the city where black man Jacob Blake was shot in the back by a police officer. Local Police Chief Daniel Miskinis responded to the issue at a press conference and said that "the suspect used live weapons towards the protesters". He added that the circumstances of the incident are not yet known and are under investigation.

Preliminary details indicate that a Facebook account used by Reithaus showed pictures of him holding weapons and supporting the "Lives of the Blues Important" group, an organization that supports the police forces that opposed the "Lives of the Blacks Important" organization.

The young man's arrest came less than a day after the incident in which two people were killed. According to videos from the scene, a man with a rifle was seen shooting at the protesters, but the police have not yet confirmed whether it is him. Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth said his office was examining whether the shooting was the result of an argument between protesters and a group of people who wanted to keep local businesses.

Overnight, riots continued over the Blake shooting, which included setting fire to businesses and looting. In addition, parking lots were set on fire. At the same time, the local police announced the departure of two police officers on leave after suspicion arose that they were involved in the incident. Meanwhile, many states have announced a state of emergency for fear of being symbolized on the streets, including Minnesota and Oregon. At the same time, many protests took place in the city.
