Kufra River Valley and its tributaries is one of the distinctive destinations for exploration enthusiasts, with its virgin forests, fresh springs and waterfalls, which are breathtaking because of their beauty.

The village of Kufra belongs to the Kinsaba district in the Al-Haffah region and is located on a foot of a height ranging between 200 and 500 meters, and it still preserves between its flanks many archaeological monuments, according to Bashar Shakouhi, a resident of the region and a fan of exploration and camping.

Shakouhi points out that “Qena Malaki” “The Kings Canal” and the rest of it until now in the place called “Neboua Tum Al-Khaba” is one of the most important effects of the valley, explaining that its last restoration dates back to the Roman era by Marco Antonio in 34 BC.

Shakouhi accompanied many exploratory groups to the region for his familiarity with its details and mysteries. He says that crossing the valley that extends for a distance of 4 km from Ain al-Sit through Wadi al-Malqa to “Nuboua Tum al-Khaba” requires professionals in the walk and traversing the rugged areas as the valley includes in some parts areas of total inundation and unknown pools The depth is in addition to tens of waterfalls, some of which reach a height of more than 9 meters near the Barmsa water mill in Wadi Al-Malqa from the village of Kafria, including the Ein Sitt waterfall and the green waterfall.

And Shakouhi notes the importance of preserving this pristine nature by visitors and camping enthusiasts and not polluting it and setting it on fire to remain sparkling, green and attractive to tourists.
