Microsoft relaunches its Flight Simulator 0:54
New York (CNN Business) -
Microsoft 365 suffered a significant glitch Monday night that affected users' access to multiple services, including Outlook.
By late at night, services appeared to have been largely restored.
Microsoft tweeted at 9:21 pm ET that "most users should be feeling relief."
The company added that it "continues to see a significant improvement in affected services."
The company previously indicated that the affected services included Outlook.com, Office.com, Power Platform, Dynamics365, and Microsoft Teams, including Teams Live Event.
According to Down Detector, a website that tracks Internet failures, users reported problems with login, server connection, and Outlook.
The downtime started around 5 p.m. ET for Office 365, according to the site.
Microsoft initially attributed the flaw to a recent platform change.
He then stated that he “did not see an increase in successful connections after reversing a recent change.
We are working to evaluate additional mitigation solutions while we investigate the root cause. "
A Microsoft spokesperson later told CNN Business that "at this time, we have not seen any indication that this is the result of malicious activity."
