For the first time, the public prosecutor of Lorient specified the number of presumed victims of Le Scouarnec, having acted in 18 hospitals in western France since 1986: 312. To which are added 31 identifiable victims, but in situations "

The average age of the 312 victims, 11, makes this survey the largest pedophilia case in France.
In detail, the prosecutor referred to some "
chilling statistics
", without wanting that these people are summarized in simple numbers: 349 potential victims, including 312 retained for the investigation, in 28 years of alleged abuses, between 1986 and 2014;
164 of them were male, 148 female;
298 victims were under 20, and 265 were under 15;
107 facts are likely to be qualified as "aggravated rape", 205 are likely to be qualified as "aggravated sexual assault".
Le Scouarnec attended 18 hospitals in the west of France.
There are 29 victims in Indre-et-Loire, 213 in Morbihan, 39 in Finistère, 31 in Orne, Loire-Atlantique, Vendée and Charente-Maritime.
